Elephants, Donkeys, and Bearplanes ...Oh my!

You are looking at a concept submission for PetSmart dog toys. Worked on these guys in 2015. Elephants and donkeys make great plush toys. Great presidents? Debatable. Speaking of which, did you watch the Donald and Hillary Show?

For almost 40 years I have been designing, developing, and, yes, making the patterns and sewing the prototypes for plush toys. Sew, it is only fitting and proper that I use familiar sewing terms to describe what seams to be a wrinkled presidential race. The candidates needle each other. Both are full of bias. They constantly try to pull the wool over our eyes. Weaving half truths and lies into the fabric of their discourse. Each with his/her own warped vision. Tailor made to strike a cord with the notions of their followers. "Enough!" you say. The pattern is clear. The patchwork quilt that is our red, blue, and purple country needs a new seamstress or tailor! Will either fashion a bold new future?
